Bulk food bins

    Hi. I love the look of the newly remodeled bulk area. I shop for gluten-free flour. Would it be possible to somehow separate the gluten-free flours from the gluten containing flours to reduce the chance of cross contamination? Maybe even just having them higher up than the others?

    Also, is there a list of what you carry in bulk? I would love to have a copy at home (or on your website) for reference.

    We’re still in the process of arranging, rearranging, and putting together the bulk section—and while we can try to group the flours by gluten content, I would not advise anyone with gluten intolerance or celiac disease to rely on the bulk aisle at any store for their supply of flours.

    We’re not able to ensure that there will not be cross-contamination, no matter where the bins are placed, so I would encourage you to err on the side of caution and take your medical provider’s advice on this.

    Once we have the product selection set for the bulk aisle, we can try to have a list on the website to make shopping easier. Great idea!
